Chelated Magnesium Bisglycinate - 120 Vegan Capsules

Magnesium Glycinate is a chelated form of Magnesium that may offer benefits such as improved absorption compared to other forms. While some individuals may experience bloating or diarrhea with certain forms of magnesium supplements, this is not necessarily the case for everyone.

Studies have shown that magnesium glycinate may have higher bioavailability compared to magnesium oxide, which could result in more efficient absorption by the body. So, you need far less to obtain the same benefits. Moreover, it boosts your magnesium levels without feeling loaded with supplements.

With its well-known non-laxative effect, Magnesium Glycinate Chelate is kind to your tum, which is another reason why your body can absorb more of this precious mineral. Each capsule contains 55 mg of elemental Magnesium, so one or two before you go to bed at night should be enough for most people.

What is Magnesium Glycinate?

Magnesium glycinate is a magnesium supplement that contains the amino acid glycine. It is a chelated form of magnesium, which means it is easier for the body to absorb. This makes it a good choice for people who are deficient in magnesium. It is also good for people with digestive issues, as other forms of magnesium supplements such as magnesium oxide can be difficult to digest.

Different Forms of Magnesium Supplements

There are different forms of magnesium supplements available on the market. The most common forms are magnesium glycinate, magnesium citrate, magnesium bisglycinate, magnesium oxide, magnesium malate, and magnesium carbonate. Each form has its own advantages and disadvantages.

Magnesium glycinate is the most bioavailable form of magnesium, meaning it is the most easily absorbed by the body. It is also the most expensive form. Magnesium citrate is a cheaper alternative that is also easily absorbed by the body. However, it can cause diarrhoea in some people.

Magnesium oxide is the most common form of magnesium supplement because it is the cheapest. However, it is not as easily absorbed by the body and can cause constipation. Magnesium malate is a good option for people who need a high dose of magnesium but don’t want to take multiple pills per day. It is also easily absorbed by the body. Magnesium carbonate is another cheap option, but it can be hard on the stomach and cause gas and bloating.

What is the Difference Between Magnesium Bisglycinate and Magnesium Glycinate?

This one is easy! Magnesium bisglycinate, magnesium glycinate, and magnesium diglycinate are all names for the same thing.

Magnesium bisglycinate or magnesium glycinate, or magnesium diglycinate is a chelated form of magnesium that is bound to two glycine molecules.

Magnesium Glycinate Benefits

Magnesium Glycinate has been associated with potential benefits such as improved sleep quality. However, individual experiences may vary, and speaking with a healthcare professional before starting any supplement regimen is important.

Magnesium has a positive effect on leg cramps, bowel motions, mood, blood pressure, migraines and the maintenance of strong bones and teeth. The element plays a role in more than 300 bodily functions. Be warned, however, that stress, a suboptimal diet and too much coffee or tea can have a devastating effect on our magnesium levels. It is our job to maintain healthy levels if we’re to stand a fighting chance in this fast-paced world.

Our product is VEGAN certified and contains no artificial fillers, sugars or starches. It will support your VEGAN, VEGETARIAN, KETO, INTERMITTENT FASTING, LCHF and PALEO DIET.

Our product is made in the UK to pharmaceutical GMP standards using only high-quality non-GMO ingredients, and it comes with clear and detailed labelling. You will not find magnesium stearate, silicon dioxide or other nasties in our pure magnesium glycinate capsules. You can, therefore, rest assured that you are using the best possible magnesium product, paying a fair price and supporting UK manufacturing jobs. And god knows we need more of those.

Important Information – Food supplements should not be used as a substitute for a balanced diet and a healthy lifestyle. If you are pregnant, breastfeeding, taking prescription medication, or under medical supervision, it is advisable to consult a GP prior to taking any supplements.

Magnesium glycinate is meant to improve sleep, but I kept waking up after around 4 hours and I couldn’t get back to sleep for several hours. I stopped taking these and my sleep returned to normal. Won’t take these again at any time – even in the mornings, in case I’m wide awake after 4 hours again.

I read in a magazine that I am probably lacking magnesium due to not sleeping and feeling anxious.Did a bit a research and decided to give them a try.I can honesty say they work wonders! For the first time in years I sleep every night with no worry about my over racing mind and having to lay tossing and turning all night.Out like a light and I am much calmer!

I ordered these after reading forums for sacriolitis and sjd – i have had chronic pain since September and waiting for a steriod injection to ‘hopefully’ ease the pain. I jave been reading forums to get tips and advice on anything that might help reduce the pain meantime and this was a constant recommemded supplement. This kind of magnesium is the only one without laxative affect and it is needed in the body to support good muscles, joints, bones and teeth and it is 100% absorbed by the body – the only thing I can find as a negative is the size of the capsules they are slightly longer and thicker than paracetamol so if you struggle swallowing pills this is not for you

I take magnesium for general calmness and improved sleep quality. I have tried a few, and found this to be the best so far. I have not had any of the digestive upset some brands were causing and have had all of the benefits of magnesium. It is great that there are no nasty fillers like magnesium stearate. I think it is reasonably priced too.

This is a good quality magnesium supplement. I normally take a magnesium supplement as it prevents me from getting leg and foot cramps, and because it is a very important mineral for muscles and nerves. So I was happy to road test this Epsilon magnesium supplement. Magnesium glycinate is one of the most bio-available versions of magnesium and this one in particular is formulated to be very kind to your digestive system, which some supplements are not. I have had no problems with it and I am also very happy with the size of the capsules. Oftentimes magnesium supplements are the size of horse tablets, so an smaller one is definitely welcome! I will definitely be getting more of these.

I take magnesium glycinate every day for my ADHD, i find it helps me no end. I feel way more normal on magnesium. These capsules look very much like all the other magnesium capsule i have taken to be honest. They are a medium size and i find them no problem to take. I take two of these everyday.Ive finished the whole bottle now and i can honestly say it worked just as well as all the other brands i have tried. I didnt have any increase of my symptoms at all.Id definitely recommend these to anyone who wants to take a magnesium glycinate supplement. If you think it will work for you then these ones are worth a go. Its a nice big bottle that lasted me 2 months on 2 a day.

Good product: I feel better after using it. The only thing I don’t like is the fact that you have to take up to 3 capsules of it. Would have been better if they were available in the appropriate dosage in a single capsule.

Thought I’d try these from my usual Mag Citrate ones. I had been having a lot of eye twitching (sign of magnesium deficiency) so suspected the Mag C wasn’t enough even when I upped my dose.Soon after I started taking these, the twitching stopped, so i knew they were working, and giving me all the benefits of Magnesium. They are not chalky like the other ones, and very easy to swallow. I take 3 aday.

I’ve been taking Magnesium supplements for a long time now. The benefits are well-known, from your mental well-being as a relaxant ,it’s anti-inflammatory properties ,bone and teeth strength, blood pressure maintenance and so much more.Unfortunately for many people there is a side -effect and as one with a stomach that can cause me problems at the best of times my regular Magnesium supplement can act as a laxative, fine if you need such a thing, not so good if it’s an inconvenience. The Epsilon Magnesium capsules are 100% chelated which means it provides all the benefits of Magnesium but without any stomach-related side effects, and trust me if such things are a problem for you that’s a deal-breaker.The capsules are smaller than similar Magnesium products ,areeasy to swallow and with no nasty taste. Epsilon are an established British company and as with all of their products these capsules are made to GMP standards, they’re aslo suitable for a number of diets,Vegan,Vegetarian and Paleo amongst them, and are GMO free.At the price of £14,99 for 120 capsules these are a competitive price while while being easier to swallow than the usual “torpedo” and being much kinder to your stomach than the usual Magnesium supplements these are my choice from now on.

Magnesium is one of my must have supplements. If I ever forget to take it I always realise as I just feel anxious and out of sorts. After much trial and error I have only ever found one brand that didn’t give me stomach ache and have stuck to that for years, however the cost of it has been continually rising. I came across this one which was much better value so thought I’d give it a try, I have been using it for 2 weeks now, same calming benefits as previous brand, easier to swallow and no stomach issues. My new favourite Magnesium.

I have tried magnesium tablets previously and have found that they can affect my stomach but have tried these now for two weeks and found no problems with taking them. Easy to swallow capsules, you can take one capsule up to three times a day but I take one after my evening meal and find they work well for me, I find I sleep better and feel more relaxed. Great value for money too.

These are being used by mother to help tackle menopause symptoms and she was attracted to this particular brand because she has read that chelated magnesium is thought to be the best form of magnesium to take, due to the fact that in this form it is able to be better absorbed by the body. The tablets are 100% Vegan – another big plus these days. So far mum is happy with them and she is taking a dose of two per day.

I think i must be deficient in magnesium, As i find that when i take supplements, My happy levels immediately increase. Not sure if that’s abnormal or not, But that’s how it is for me. I was attracted to this type of magnesium as it claims to absorb into the system a lot quicker than most, As it is in a more pure state – and the way it’s made makes it super easy for the body to absorb it.I have found that it is very absorbent and strong, Working straight away – and gives me a boost to my low moods within 30 minutes of taking it. I have also noticed that i am becoming sleepy a lot earlier, With a zoning out feeling until i drop off to bed. I am also getting more sleep, Which is a great after effect, As i have gone from 5-6 hours per night to 8 hours, Give or take.

This is a good quality high strength chelated magnesium glycinate. It comes in bottle of 120 capsules. It’s vegan, & free of artificial colours, flavours, milk, lactose, soya, gluten, wheat, yeast or porcine. Dosages recommended are 500 mg for men and 320 mg for women. This one recommends 1-3 tablets & each is 500mg so I only have one. Therefore this can be 4 months supply & that makes it very good value for money! You have to give magnesium at least 1 week to 1 month to work.Magnesium glycinate is bound to glycine which makes for very good absorption levels. It has a calming effect on your brain due to the presence of glycine. It can help with:relieve anxiety and promote better sleep.keep bones strong by maintaining healthy bone density.control blood sugar in with diabetes and may lower the risk of diabetes.decreases abnormal heart rhythms.reduces premenstrual syndrome (PMS) symptomsAlso, taken (separately) with calcium at night time, helps with sleep & relaxation. (note that calcium is relaxing, hence the old remedy of “glass of milk ? before bed).

My husband and I take Magnesium with our supper every night as we both suffer from cramps in our feet during the night and this stops that from happening. This particular one is an easy to swallow capsule, I have trouble sometimes swallowing tablets so I always prefer a capsule if they are available in that form. These are also less likely to cause stomach problems, you no doubt know what milk of magnesia is for, so that’s got to be a plus. Magnesium doesn’t usually have that effect on us anymore as we have been taking it for a while now but it might if you are new to it or have a break from taking it so these would be good if that’s a concern to you.

Magnesium Glycinate has excellent absorption which makes it a great form of magnesium to supplement with. These magnesium vegan capsules from Epsilon are easy to swallow and contain no harmful additives, each capsule providing 100mg of magnesium (the RDA for magnesium is 400mg).I take 2 capsules in the evening after a meal, this provides 50% of my daily magnesium requirement which is perfect as I get most of my magnesium from food, I take these as a simple top-up to ensure I’m never low on magnesium.

This tiny pills is very easy to swallow. There is 120 pills in container but suggested intake shows 1-3 pills a day so it could last 40 days -3 months depends of our usage. This magnesium has high absorption which I’m happy about. The leg cramps at night are not my favourite thing so trying to battle it with magnesium. Time will show how quickly it will work…

So, I have been told by a good friend who is my guru for vitamins and supplements etc and which the best forms to take are that chelated magnesium is the best form of magnesium to take, as its better absorbed by the body and therefore you get the most benefit from it. I’ve been taking another brand for a while to see if it will help with my migraines (it doesn’t btw, but I don’t take 4 a day as it suggests, I only take 2 and I wasn’t really expecting it to help). However I’ve also been advised that nobody actually has enough magnesium in their diet so I continue taking it anyway as its an important mineral for the body. This one seems just as good as the other one I’ve been using, clearly says vegan friendly and for 120 tablets is a good price. So I will purchase again.

Magnesium glycinate’s high bioavailability allows the body to absorb it up to six times more efficiently than magnesium oxide, its kind to your tummy, as well give relaxing effect on your muscles and nervous system. It also enhances your quality of sleep.Capsules are small and easy to swallow. It’s recommended to take one to three of these a day, so they could last up to 4 months, depends on usage. I’m trying these supplements as I suffer badly with migraines but also because they support bones and teeth health. I have been perimenopausal since 38yrs old which is 9 years ago now and because I’m the only one in my family to have fertility issues, I want to do everything I can to help my bone health. I also do a lot of exercise too and find magnesium is brilliant for aches and pains post workout, so it’s a win win for me.I always go for vegan tablets so there are no added extras to which these are and best of all they are manufactured here in the UK. So glad so far no toilet issues?

This offering of magnesium gets massive plus points from me straight away as I’ve experienced the incredibly uncomfortable diarrhoea and stomach pain from taking too much in the past and it’s something I’ve often warned others about in reviews of supplements (either magnesium complex supplements or multi-vitamins), so it’s awesome that this issue has been resolved with these ones so you know you can take them safely. Magnesium is a brilliant booster to give more energy and fight negative effects of fatigue and it’s one both myself and partner have supplemented with for some time. It seems to also help with better sleep which is a great bonus for me.It’s recommended to take one to three of these a day, so they could last up to four months which is pretty good value and either way this is the best and most well considered supplement for magnesium I’ve come across to date. If you’ve had issues with it in the past then try these for sure.

These seem like good quality magnesium glycinate capsules. They deliver 100mg of magnesium in a readily absorbable form and the other ingredianrs are the normal, unproblematic things you find in many good quality tablets. The capsules are small and easy to swallow and are suitable for vegans. They are UK made and carry the GMP endorsement mark, so you can be confident that you’re getting what is claimed on the label and they’re good value.Overall, a good product which I can recommend and would be happy to buy again.

Thumbs up for me…-They are clearly marked as being suitable for veggies and vegans on both the product page and packaging.-They’ve went for veg capsules which is appreciated. So no nasties like gelatine for veggies and vegans.-You get 120 capsules and at one a day that gives you 4 months supply. However, the directions do say take 1-3 a day so it could be less than that if you go for the maximum dosage.-I find them easy enough to swallow. At just over a £15 they are reasonable value for money, especially as it seems a strong band with quality ingredients.
